Eagles spikers win home finale

It was a satisfying night for the New Life Academy volleyball team as the Eagles claimed a three-game sweep in its home finale and clinched at least a .500 record on the season by defeating Bethany Academy (27-25, 25-20, 25-13) on Thursday night.
The victory gave third-seeded New Life a 14-13 record on the year as they advance to play at No. 2 seed Mayer Lutheran on Monday, Oct. 2.
