Woodbury Community Theatre to hold auditions for holiday production Nov. 2-3
Woodbury Community Theatre has scheduled a auditions for Nov. 2 and Nov. 3 for its holiday production, “A Traditional Holiday Celebration.”
Woodbury Community Theatre has scheduled a auditions for Nov. 2 and Nov. 3 for its holiday production, “A Traditional Holiday Celebration.”
Organizers are seeking adults and kids in grades 1 through 6 who can sing, dance and perform with in a production that celebrates the many traditions that are shared throughout the world during the holiday season.
The production will be in collaboration with East Metro Symphony Orchestra and will be held on Saturday, December 12 at 7pm and Sunday, December 13 at 3pm on the new Loft Stage at East Ridge High School in Woodbury. Rehearsals will begin the week of November 9 and will be held most evenings from 6:30-10pm for adults and 6:30-8pm for kids, depending on parts.
Auditions will be held in open audition format on Monday, November 2 and Tuesday, November 3 at Woodbury Baptist Church, 6695 Upper Afton Road, Woodbury, MN 55125. Please come on either the 2nd or 3rd from 6pm-7pm for kids grades 1-6, and from 7pm-9pm for adults, and be prepared to stay for the entire time. Organizers are asking participants to come with a short song to sing (acapella or bring sheet music; no tracks, please), and to be prepared to move and dance. Participants are also asked to come prepared to fill out an audition form, that will include listing possible schedule conflicts.
