SWCTC wins broadcast awards
Two staff members for the South Washington County Telecommunications Commission were recently awarded for their work by the National Association of Telecommunications Officers and Advisors.
Two staff members for the South Washington County Telecommunications Commission were recently awarded for their work by the National Association of Telecommunications Officers and Advisors.
Producers Ann Simpson and Robert McSherry received a first-place award in the documentary category for their story “Yeshiva High School Cottage Grove, MN.”
SWCTC also received a third-place award for a story in the public service announcement category. The station received a fourth-place award for “overall excellence in government programming.”
The award ceremony was held Friday, Oct. 2 in New Orleans, La.
