Heritage Society antique appraisals at Central Park next month
Get ready for the Woodbury Heritage Society and Woodbury Parks and Recreation Department third annual Antique Appraisal & Family History Event.
Whether you’re curious about a prized family heirloom or a bargain piece from a flea market, items of manageable, carry-able size may be brought to the event for a brief evaluation by an appraiser Sunday, Oct. 11, 3 to 5 p.m. at the Central Park amphitheater, 8595 Central Park Place, Woodbury. The cost will be $4 per item, or 3 items for $10, with a limit of three items per person. No pre-registration is necessary. Appraisals of large items or pieces of furniture will be made based on your photo of the item.
Members of the Woodbury Heritage Society will be allowed two items for free appraisal from 2 to 3 p.m. during a members-only appraisal time.
The R.H. Stafford library staff will have the “Price It! Antiques & Collectibles” research program available for users to identify and price art, antiques and collectibles.
Questions may be directed to the Woodbury Heritage Society at (651) 714-3564.
