Cottage Grove woman charged in Maplewood bank robbery
A Cottage Grove woman was charged Tuesday in connection with the Aug. 29 robbery of a Wells Fargo Bank in Maplewood, according an FBI press release.
A Cottage Grove woman was charged Tuesday in connection with the Aug. 29 robbery of a Wells Fargo Bank in Maplewood, according an FBI press release.
Ma Myrrelli Juanillo Asuncion, 29, turned herself in to the Minneapolis Field Office of the FBI Sunday, Aug. 30, for the crime, according to the release.
During incident, the bank robber approached a teller and presented a demand note for money, and then fled on foot from the bank, located at 2945 White Bear Ave.
Ascuncion made her first appearance in U.S. District Court Tuesday, and is being held pending further proceedings, the release says.
The U.S. Attorney’s Office, District of Minnesota, is prosecuting the case.
