Bachmann health-care forum today
U.S. Rep. Michele Bachmann will hold a town hall forum on health care this afternoon.
U.S. Rep. Michele Bachmann will hold a town hall forum on health care this afternoon.
The public event is scheduled for 2:45 p.m. to 4 p.m. at Oak-Land Junior High School in Lake Elmo. Doors open at 1:45 p.m.
Joining Bachmann at the forum will be former physician and fellow Republican Rep. Michael Burgess of Texas. The Rochester, Minn., native has a background in obstetrics and sits on a House health-care committee.
Bachmann, a Republican, represents Minnesota’s 6th District, which stretches from Woodbury northwest to St. Cloud.
Oakland Junior High is located on Manning Avenue north of I-94.
