Melissa Cornwell and Kirk Ingram were married Saturday, Aug. 22
Melissa Cornwell and Kirk Ingram were married Saturday, Aug. 22 at Woodbury/Peaceful Grove United Methodist Church.
Melissa, daughter of John and Mary Lee Cornwell, is working toward a Ph.D. in genetics and cell biology at the University of Minnesota, College of Biological Sciences, where she conducts research on human diseases such as muscular dystrophy and ataxia.
Kirk, son of Brian and Theresa Ingram, graduated magna cum laude with a B.A. in mathematics and business from Concordia University, St. Paul where he was president of the math club, a member of the baseball team and won the Britton Award for top male student athlete in the Northern Sun Intercollegiate Conference. Kirk has accepted a position at Target Corp.
The couple, both graduates of Woodbury High School, now reside in Minneapolis.
