The end of Lake Junior High

Lake Junior High School, Woodbury will become Lake Middle School this September with the reconfiguration of all District 833 junior highs and the opening of East Ridge High School.

Lake Junior High School, Woodbury (grades 6-9) will become Lake Middle School (grades 6-8) this September with the reconfiguration of all District 833 junior highs and the opening of East Ridge High School.

Staff members who were at Lake when it opened in 1995 commemorated the “end of an era” together in a group photo.

While most of these original staff members will return to the reconfigured school in September, Nancy Berg will teach science at East Ridge High School, and Vickie Svetlik and Bill Marmesh will teach social studies at Woodbury High School.
