Washington County Bluegrass Festival vendor permit applications being accepted

Washington County Parks is now accepting applications from vendors for the eighth annual Washington County Bluegrass Festival.

Washington County Parks is now accepting applications from vendors for the eighth annual Washington County Bluegrass Festival. The event will take place from 2:30 p.m. to 7 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 12.

This free family-oriented event will be at the South Picnic Shelter in Lake Elmo Park Reserve.

The festival site consists of a large picnic pavilion with electricity and water, restrooms and a large lawn for festival goers to relax on while enjoying the music. Last year, the event had an attendance of 2,500 people.

The festival is free. Vehicle permits, however, are required for all vehicles entering the park. Fees are waived for vendor vehicles.

A Vendor Permit Application is available by calling Adam Griebie at (651) 430-4325 or by e-mail at Adam.Griebie@co.washington.mn.us.

Permit applications may also be printed off the Washington County website on the programs and events page at www.co.washington.mn.us/parks.

Vendors interested in providing sales at this event should complete the application and return it with a $25 check made out to Washington County Parks by July 31. Multiple vendors will be selected.

Consideration will be given to compatibility with event and to avoid duplication of products offered. Vendors who are not selected will have their $25 check returned to them.

For more information, contact Adam Griebie or see additional information on Washington County Parks at www.co.washington.mn.us/parks.
