Letter: Sympathy for Mr. Lagoon
Poor Steve Lagoon. He tried to be honest about his party's problems, and look what happened — he was rudely creamed by a pair of “proud Republicans” (Stanton/ Marum letter, June 10).
Poor Steve Lagoon. He tried to be honest about his party's problems, and look what happened — he was rudely creamed by a pair of “proud Republicans” (Stanton/ Marum letter, June 10).
As they themselves said, “[W]e do need leaders but with this kind of negativity, who would want to step up?"
Mr. Lagoon, in spite of their suspicion that you might be “a Democrat in disguise,” I doubt that.
However, there’s still room in the middle for those who can think for themselves.
“Independent” is not a dirty word.
