‘Interpretations’ at Hastings historic estate
June 27 marks the opening of the “Modern Interpretations of Historic Designs” exhibit at the LeDuc Historic Estate, 1629 Vermillion Street, Hastings.
June 27 marks the opening of the “Modern Interpretations of Historic Designs” exhibit at the LeDuc Historic Estate, 1629 Vermillion Street, Hastings.
The exhibit will consist of 33 pieces of art created by 22 artists who participated in a year-long competition featuring their interpretations of patterns designed by Alice LeDuc for the Hastings Needlework Company.
Dr. Ann Braaten, NDSU, will give lectures in the parlor at 11 a.m. and 1:30 p.m. The lectures are free and open to the public.
