An arraignment hearing for a man charged in the gunshot death of a young woman in Hudson, Wis. was continued Monday.
Christopher Soriano Ledesma, 29, St. Paul, was scheduled to plea to a homicide charge Monday morning. After a 38-minute conference in Judge Eric J. Lundell's chambers with public defender John Kucinski and District Attorney Eric Johnson, the arraignment hearing was postponed for three weeks.
Ledesma, who has been held in the St. Croix County Jail since May 8 on a $500,000 cash bond, never appeared in the courtroom during the proceedings.
He was arrested in Minnesota after the body of Kelly Dahm, 19, of Maplewood was found in an abandoned car in the St. Croix County Government Center parking lot Sept. 20, 2008.
