Summer playground fun in Woodbury

The city of Woodbury Parks and Recreation department will host playground programs throughout the summer for children ages 6 – 11 at Colby Lake Park, Woodbury.

Children may be registered for the Monday through Thursday, 1 to 4 p.m. program at a cost of $28, or the Monday only program at a cost of $9.

Playground leaders will involve children in a variety of games, activities, crafts and special events incorporated into a weekly theme.

“Galaxy of Games,” held July 6 – 9, will feature favorite summer games including big base kickball, pin guard, and dodge ball.

“Woodbury Olympics” held July 13 – 16, features team challenges, relay races and an official awards ceremony.
