Locals graduate Mounds Park Academy

The Mounds Park Academy, St. Paul Class of 2009 will be honored at commencement ceremonies on Saturday, June 6, 5 p.m. in the Nicholson Center on campus, 2051 Larpenteur Avenue East, St. Paul.

Students from Woodbury who will be graduating that day include:

Nathan Bander, son of Michael Bander and Ellen Rest,Woodbury. He plans to attend the University of Minnesota, Twin Cities;

Christina Berget, daughter of Dr. Jon and Mrs. Jeanne Berget, Woodbury. She plans to attend St. Olaf College, Northfield;

Asha Kennedy, daughter of Dr. Jerone and Penny Kennedy, Woodbury. She plans to attend Hampton University, Hampton, Va.;

Howard Levine, son of Nancy Levine, Woodbury, and Charles Levine, Woodbury. He plans to attend Tufts University, Medford, Mass.;

Matthew Scott Miller, son of Paula Miller, Woodbury, and Scott Miller, Woodbury. He plans to attend Washington University in St. Louis, St. Louis, Mo.;

Amanda Ogbuehi, daughter of Victor Ogbuehi, Woodbury. She plans to attend the University of St. Thomas, Saint Paul;

David Omestad, son of Al and Sue Omestad, Woodbury. He plans to attend Iowa State University, Ames;

McKenzie Roese, daughter of Arnie and Lisa Roese, Woodbury. She plans to attend Davidson College, Davidson, N.C.;

Souriya Thao, daughter of Xiong J. and Ger M. Thao, Woodbury. She plans to attend Carleton College, Northfield.
