Water park trip planned

The city of Woodbury Parks and Recreation Department is accepting registration for a summer adventure for children ages 7 – 14 to the Water Park of America, located at the Radisson Hotel in Bloomington.

The cost for the Friday, June 26 trip is $35 and includes the bus ride from the Colby Lake Park parking lot departing at 9:30 a.m. and returning to the lot at 4 p.m. Participants must know how to swim.

The trip will be supervised by the department’s trained playground staff at a minimum 1:10 ratio of leaders to participants. A maximum of 40 children are allowed.

The water park features surfing on a surf simulator, catch a wave pool, raft ride and more. Participants should bring their own lunch for the day or money for concessions.
