Summer playground fun

The city of Woodbury Parks and Recreation Department will host playground programs throughout the summer for children ages 6 – 11 at Colby Lake Park, 9715 Valley Creek Road, Woodbury.

Children may be registered for the Monday through Thursday, 1 to 4 p.m. program at a cost of $28, or the Monday only program at a cost of $9.

Playground leaders will involve children in a variety of games, activities, crafts and special events incorporated into a weekly theme.

“Sports Spectacular” will be held June 22 – 25 and will feature a combination of favorite backyard sports including flag football, ultimate ball, kickball and more.
