The Woodbury Health and Wellness Collaborative will offer the community a six-week wellness series designed to help persons relax and get away from everyday stressors of life.
It’s being held every Wednesday evening, May 13 through June 17, from 5:45 to 7 p.m.
This wellness series will be held inside the Woodwinds Gazebo surrounded by the Woodwinds Healing Gardens nestled on 32 acres of natural wetlands.
Woodwinds Health Campus is located in Woodbury between Valley Creek Road and Lake Street west of I-494 on Woodwinds Drive.
“The series will focus on you and how you can empower yourself for healthy, lasting changes; mindful eating; learning how to release tension through stretching; yoga; getting out from under your stress; and living in the now,” stated a press rease on the series. “You will also enjoy a light and healthy meal while you unwind and focus on yourself.”
Each evening is designed to be interactive, so dress comfortably.
All six sessions are $75. This includes a healthy meal. For a schedule of specific classes visit www.woodwinds.org/collaborative.
Space is limited. Register by calling the Southeast Area YMCA at (651) 731-9507.
The Woodbury Health and Wellness Collaborative goals are to improve the health and well-being of the community through awareness, education and participating in healthy lifestyle opportunities.
Collaborating partners including the city of Woodbury Parks and Recreation Department, Kowalski’s Market, Northwestern Health Sciences University, South Washington County Schools Community Education, Southeast Area YMCA, Washington County Public Health and Environment and Woodwinds Health Campus.
