Resurrection Lutheran Church invites the community to attend a brunch for women on Sunday, May 17 from noon to 1:30 p.m. at the church, 9925 Bailey Road in Woodbury. There is no cost to attend, but a reservation is required.
Featured speaker Karen Pavlicin will present “The Moments In Between: Laugh, Love and Live.”
Organizers invite women in the community to “join other Christian women for brunch as published author and national speaker Karen Pavlicin shares what she calls her 10-year growth spurt” where, as illness, death, lightning, and wasps knocked at her door, it was the moments in between that shaped her perspective and brought her closer to God.
Pavlicin is also the founder and board chair of The Andermax Foundation, a nonprofit organization that grants funds to find cures for major illnesses, use nature and the arts to heal people, and improve communities to eliminate poverty. Her CD “Little Bit of Faith” will be available for purchase with all profits going to cancer research.
To reserve a seat, call the church at (651) 730-1000 or e-mail firstname.lastname@example.org.
