Letter: Misrepresenting the RLC

Renee Murray of Lake Elmo says in an April 15 letter “The [Republican Liberty Caucus]... favors the privatization of all government infrastructure.”

This is not true, as can be seen in the RLC's Statement of Principles, available at www.RLC.org.

The organization supports Article I of the Constitution, which enumerates all of the specific powers of the federal government.

The RLC simply proposes that those functions that are not authorized by the Constitution be "dismantled" with all deliberative speed.
