School lunch menu week of April 20 to April 24

The South Washington County School District 833 Nutrition Services program serves all District 833 schools and Valley Crossing Community School.

Elementary schools

“Another Healthy Choice” is a second lunch option available daily each week. This week’s selection features grilled chicken on a bun, milk and depending on the day: pretzels or salad or rice or hot veggie; and fruit or juice.

Monday, April 20 – Breakfast: assorted cereals and bagel; Lunch: shrimp poppers

Tuesday, April 21 – Breakfast: breakfast bites and wedge potato; Lunch: beef hot dog on a bun; pizza at Middleton

Wednesday, April 22 – Breakfast: assorted cereals and English muffin; Lunch: Hip Dipper

Thursday, April 23 – Breakfast: breakfast pizza and cereal; Lunch: veggie and pork egg roll with fried rice

Friday, April 24 – Breakfast: assorted cereals and muffin; Lunch: manager’s choice

Junior high schools

Three to four cold lunch options, including sandwiches and a salad, are available for lunch each day at both junior high schools in addition to the following lunch items.

Monday, April 20 – Meatballs or shrimp poppers

Tuesday, April 21 – Lake: beef hot dog on a bun or tater tot casserole; WJH: manager’s choice, or hamburger or cheeseburger on a bun

Wednesday, April 22 – Lake: pizza; WJH: beef hot dog on a bun or tater tot casserole

Thursday, April 23 – Lake: manager’s choice, or hamburger or cheeseburger on a bun; WJH: pizza

Friday, April 24 – Spicy chicken patty on a bun or mac and cheese

Woodbury High School

Three to four cold lunch options, including sandwiches and salads, and three to four grilled items are available for lunch each day in addition to the following items.

Monday, April 20 – Cheese or pepperoni pizza, or mac and cheese

Tuesday, April 21 – Spaghetti with sauce or Fiestada

Wednesday, April 22 – Vegetable and pork egg roll or chicken or cheese quesadillas

Thursday, April 23 – Hard or soft shell tacos with choice of meat or cheese

Friday, April 24 – Italian Dunkers with sauce, or cheese bread
