Timothy Brown of Woodbury will present a series of discussions based on the book “Investing in an Uncertain Market For Dummies “ by financial advisor Sheryl Garrett and a team of professional advisors at the Garrett Planning Network.
The book gives focused, individualized investment strategies to help investors protect and strengthen their current financial holdings during challenging economic times.
The next scheduled session of the series is planned for April 23 at 1 p.m. at the Brown Wealth Management offices at 7616 Currell Blvd., Suite 200, Woodbury.
Each discussion will be based on topics from the book with guidance from Brown, an investment and retirement expert. Couples attending the sessions will receive a copy of the book “Investing in an Uncertain Economy for Dummies.”
According to Brown, the tactical solutions found within the book empower readers to make efficient asset allocation decisions in the face of volatile markets.
Readers will learn how to manage debt, assess insurance, improve credit scores and save for college education and retirement. The book covers retirement issues like Social Security benefits, pensions, IRAs and taxable investments.
