Crosswinds Art and Science School festival features parade of your art

Crosswinds Art and Science School will host “Art in the Arbor Festival” on Saturday, May 9 from 1 to 3 p.m. at the school, 600 Weir Drive in Woodbury.

Students, families, and community members are invited to participate in the free, family-friendly event celebrating spring, the arts and the environment.

From 1 to 2:30 p.m., participants can take part in dance workshops, and mask, hand-held puppet, noise maker, costume, sculpture, and nature stamp projects. At 2:30 p.m., the projects will be put to use during a community parade across the grounds of the school. Light refreshments will be available for purchase.
