Central Park to get ‘jazzed up’ April 16

The St. Croix Jazz Orchestra will perform at Woodbury’s Central Park, 8595 Central Park Place, on April 16 at 7 p.m.

The St. Croix Jazz Orchestra will perform at Woodbury’s Central Park, 8595 Central Park Place, on April 16 at 7 p.m.

The free concert is part of the parks and recreation department’s “Performances in the Park” series.

The St. Croix Jazz Orchestra is an 18-piece jazz big band made up of professional musicians who live or work in the St. Croix Valley area.

The program is committed to the preservation and promotion of jazz, America’s unique music genre. Jazz has American roots, representing America’s biggest contribution to the world of art.
