Wine tasting fundraiser for group home

A wine tasting benefit for Heather’s House is scheduled from 6:30 to 9:30 p.m. on Friday, March 20 at Ray J’s American Grill, 9854 Norma Lane, Woodbury.

The event will include hors d’oeuvres, music and wine sampling. Tickets may be purchased at Top Ten Wine and Spirits stores located in Woodbury and Cottage Grove. The cost is $12.50 per person.

According to organizers Cottage Grove residents Jeff and Chris Peterson, proceeds will be used toward the goal of creating a private, not for profit group home for developmentally challenged young women in the Twin Cities southeast metro area.Music will be performed by Doo Da Day featuring a mix of jazz, blues, pop and country.
