Are you looking for activities for your child that will fit into your summer schedule? Try Little Gym’s “Anytime, Summertime Camps.”
The camps help children develop important motor skills and build confidence in an engaging, fun atmosphere.
Little Gym of Woodbury has specially developed curriculums that combine physical fitness, gymnastics and play with arts, crafts and special events.
Each week has a unique theme and each day has a different, creative lesson plan. Children will hunt for Hidden Pirates Treasure, roam the Jurassic jungle during “Dinosaurs and Dragons” week and even catch a ride on a bucking bronco and explore the Wild West.
Camps are for ages 3-10 and are available Monday through Thursday for three hours each day. Schedule a day, a few days, or several full week sessions. Customize a child's camp days to fit their summer schedule.
Camp time this summer will be Wednesday mornings from 9 a.m. to noon.
Children must be potty independent — able to use the bathroom by themselves.
The camp enrollment process starts March 9.
The Little Gym was recently honored for the third straight year with a “Number One ranking” in its category of Entrepreneur Magazine’s annual list of the top 500 franchises.
“Programs at the Little Gym are curriculum-based and make skill building fun for students and parents alike. Individualized attention builds the students’ confidence and lays the foundation for success in other arenas of life,” said Slater Crosby, owner of the Woodbury location of the Little Gym.
A detailed schedule of program offerings can be obtained by visiting the Woodbury location at 10150 Hudson Road in Woodbury Commons (across from Wal-Mart), by calling (651) 501-5822 or visiting www.tlgwoodburymn.com.
