Rambo featured at Black History Month event
Emmy award winner T. Mychael Rambo is set to headline a Black History Month event at Unity East Church in Woodbury on Saturday, Feb. 28 at 7 p.m.
Emmy award winner T. Mychael Rambo is set to headline a Black History Month event at Unity East Church in Woodbury on Saturday, Feb. 28 at 7 p.m. The program will be emceed by media personality Freddie Bell.
Rambo’s one-man show “My Heart Sings So that My Spirit May Fly: Music, Poems, and Songs of African Americans” is open to the public.
Tickets are $15 in advance and can be purchased online at www.unityeast.org or may be purchased for $20 at the door.
Unity East, a non-denominational church, is located at 1890 Wooddale Drive, Suite 500. The church offers Sunday services at 9 and 10:30 a.m. with senior minister, the Rev. Geoffrey Davis; meditation and prayer services on Wednesdays at 7 p.m.; and various classes, youth education and programs featuring metaphysics.
