Lucy Philomena joins the Schmidtknecht family
Lucy Philomena Schmidtknecht was born Friday, Feb. 6, 2009 to parents Shawn Michael and Kari Anne Schmidtknecht at Hudson Hospital, Hudson, Wis.

Lucy weighed 7 pounds, 10 ounces at birth and measured 20 inches. She was welcomed home by sister Megan Odilia and brother Samuel Joseph.
Her grandparents are Joe and Betty Schumacher of Rogers; Darroll and Crisanta Schmidtknecht of Sleepy Eye; and Richard and Marcia Marek of River Falls, Wis. Lucy’s great-grandparents include Clara Holtz of Little Falls; Richard Helm of Prescott, Wis.; and Leola Marek of Ellsworth, Wis.
