'Minnesota Town Hall Meetings' to include Woodbury stop

Minnesota lawmakers will be visiting communities around the state to gather input on the Governor’s budget recommendations and listen to the public’s ideas to address the state’s $4.8 billion budget deficit.

Minnesota lawmakers will be visiting communities around the state to gather input on the Governor’s budget recommendations and listen to the public’s ideas to address the state’s $4.8 billion budget deficit.

Citizens are invited to attend the hearings and offer their testimony regarding the budget.

The metro area meetings will take place the week of Feb. 23.

On Monday, Feb. 23 at 6 p.m., a meeting will be held in the Central Park Amphitheater, 8595 Central Park Place.

Town hall meetings will also be held during the week at Bloomington, Minneapolis, Burnsville, White Bear Lake, St. Paul, Plymouth, Coon Rapids and Forest Lake.
