Board OK’s road speed studies in Washington County

The Washington County Board of Commissioners approved a request to the Commissioner of the Minnesota Department of Transportation for four speed studies to determine the reasonable and safe speed limit at four locations on Washington County roads.
The locations will be in Woodbury on County Road 13, Hugo on County Road 8, Grant/Stillwater/Stillwater Township on County Road 15 and Lakeland/Lakeland Shores on County Road 18.
The speed studies are being requested since road reconstruction projects during the past three years may have affected traffic patterns and travel speeds on these county roads.
