The Science Explorers program of the Woodbury Parks and Recreation Department will present “Shocking Electrical Science” on Monday, Feb. 16.

The Science Explorers program of the Woodbury Parks and Recreation Department will present “Shocking Electrical Science” on Monday, Feb. 16 (President’s Day) from 9:30 to 11:30 a.m. for children ages 6 to 10 in the Tamarack Room at Woodbury’s Central Park, 8595 Central Park Place. The cost is $19.

Participants will learn all about electricity and the flow of electrons and will build electrical circuits using wires, batteries, motors, buzzers and more. Experiment with magnetism and electrical charges by making an electromagnet to take home.
