The city of Woodbury invites Woodbury residents to “celebrate the season by having your family build a snowman.” Take a picture of the builders and snowman creation, and send it to the city by Tuesday, March 31 for possible use in city-sponsored publications.
Photos should be mailed or e-mailed (one photo per family) to aringgold@ci.woodbury.mn.us, or “My Snowman and Me,” c/o Ann Ringgold, Woodbury Parks and Recreation, 8595 Central Park Place, Suite 102, Woodbury, MN 55125. Include the names of those photographed, the age(s) of the child(ren), adult ages not necessary, a contact phone number and your address on the back of the photo or with your e-mail. Photos may not be larger than 4 by 6 inches. Acceptable digital formats include tif, jpeg, or pdf files. Photo prints will not be returned.
By submitting your photo you give the city permission to use the photo in city sponsored publications, programs, or on the city of Woodbury website (with proper credit), and agree to allow SWC-TV to broadcast the photo on cable television and their website, www.swctc.tv.
All photos will be entered into a random drawing. The drawn photo will be featured in next year’s Parks & Recreation winter brochure. All snowmen will be featured on the city website, www.ci.woodbury.mn.us, and will be broadcast as part of “Woodbury City Style” on the South Washington County Telecommunications Commission (SWCTC) channels 16 and 18.
