Hockey fun at Ojibway Skate Park
The Ojibway Skate Park warming house and hockey rink will be the setting for the city of Woodbury Parks and Recreation Department “Hockey Day Hangout & Skills Challenge” on Monday, Jan. 26 from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.
The Ojibway Skate Park warming house and hockey rink will be the setting for the city of Woodbury Parks and Recreation Department “Hockey Day Hangout & Skills Challenge” on Monday, Jan. 26 from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. School District 833 will not be in session. Children ages 6 to 12 are invited to register for the event. The cost is $22.
Events include an individual and partner skills challenge with a variety of contests including accuracy, 4 corners, long range shot, fastest skater, obstacle course, superman slide, water balloon passing and chuck-a-puck.
Following the competition prizes will be awarded to age winners of each challenge, overall individual winners and overall partner winners. Pizza and pop will be provided to all participants. Open skating will follow the pizza and awards party. The event is limited to 50 registrants and participants must provide their own skates.
