Woodbury Lutheran Church career transitions group to meet

The Career Transition Connection group of Woodbury Lutheran Church will meet from 7 to 8:30 p.m., Thursday, Jan. 22. Speaker Joyce LeMay will present “How to Gain the Competitive Advantage when Interviewing.” She’ll discuss “what to expect in an interview in today’s tough business climate, how to best prepare to answer interview questions including behavior based questions and determine what the employer may be looking for in their questions,” and how to close an interview and appropriate follow up.

The group meets at the church, 7380 Afton Road in Woodbury on the second and fourth Thursday of each month throughout the year. The forum provides time for networking, sharing success stories and a general exchange of information. The goal of the group is “to reach out for support to those people in career transition or thinking of transitioning, in a Christian support environment.”
