District 833 Community Education offers a variety of swim programs during the winter. All winter classes are held at Woodbury Junior High School, 1425 School Drive or Oltman Junior High School, 1020 Third Street, St. Paul Park.
Swim lessons are offered for toddler, preschool, school age, teens and adult participants. Enrollment options include a general class, semi-private or private lessons. Classes are offered on weeknights and Saturdays. Class levels 2A - level 6 follow American Red Cross standards.
Boys interested in accomplishing the “Beginner” or “Swimmer” Boy Scout of America swim test required for camp, may sign up individually or by troop for class #AQ22400. Class will be held Thursday, Feb. 19 at Oltman Junior High School, from 6 to 7:30 p.m. The cost is $3.
Water Exercise is offered at both Woodbury and Oltman junior high schools. Register by the day or purchase an entrance card at the pool. The cost is $3.25 per day.
