The bride’s attendants were: matron of honor Karen O’Brien Davis (Madison, Wis.), the bride’s sister; bridesmaids were the bride’s friends Susan Kelnberger (Woodbury), Candice Mittenzwei (Kronwetter, Wis.), and Diana Hamilton (Oakdale).
Best man was the groom’s friend Joe Wood (Mosinee, Wis.). Groomsmen were his friends Mark Tomaszewski (Wausau, Wis.), Jim Reuter (Wausau), and Greg Davis (Madison) who is also the groom’s future brother in law.
Katie is a 1999 graduate of Woodbury High School and graduated in 2004 from the University of Wisconsin, Madison with a degree in atmospheric and oceanic science. She worked as a meteorologist at WSAW-TV, Wausau from 2005 – 2008 and now is a marketing coordinator at Filbrandt & Company, Madison. Her parents are Bill and Virginia O’Brien of Woodbury.
Bill graduated high school in 1999 from Notre Dame Academy, Green Bay, Wis. and in 2003 earned a bachelors degree in broadcast journalism from the University of Wisconsin, Milwaukee. He was formerly employed by WSAW-TV, Wausau as a morning news anchor; from 2004 Wisconsin Public Radio; and is currently the webmaster for WSAW-TV, Wausau.
His parents are Bill and Joanne Martens of Green Bay.
