‘Christmas for Kids’ is holiday for parents

Salem Lutheran Church of Woodbury is offering “Christmas for Kids” for children ages 3 through 12 on Saturday, Dec. 13 from 9 a.m. to noon at the church, 7825 Bailey Road. The event is free of charge but registration is required by calling the church at (651) 458-9861.

Parents are invited to drop off their children for a few hours, while they enjoy some “free time” to do holiday baking, shopping, or just relax. Meanwhile at the church children will enjoy a variety of crafts, games, music and fun, all centered on the Christmas story. A light lunch will be offered at noon when parents pick up their children for those who wish to stay.
