‘Afton Holiday Magic’ starts this weekend

A number of activities are slated during “Afton Holiday Magic,” Dec. 5, 6 and 7, in downtown Afton.

• Friday, Dec. 5: Making Waves hair Design Studio, open house, wine and cheese reception, 5 to 8 p.m.; Afton Historical Museum, “Victorian Holiday Crafts,” 6 to 9 p.m.; Afton House Inn, dine in the “Wheel Room” and receive 10 percent off on all food.

• Saturday, Dec. 6: Breakfast and photos with Santa, Catfish Cafe, 8:30 to 11 a.m.; “Photo with Santa” and get a free frame to decorate, Afton House Conference Room, 9 a.m. to noon; Baglio’s Holiday Style Show, Afton House Inn; Story Time at the Afton Bean, 10 a.m. and again at 12:30 p.m.; “Sam’s Friend Holiday Strollers” around the town, 11 a.m. to 2 p.m.; and horse and wagon rides around town, 10:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m.

• Sunday, Dec. 7: Holiday brunch at the Afton House Inn, 10 a.m. to 1 p.m.; horse and wagon rides around town, 10:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m.; “Santa around Town,” 11 a.m. to 2 p.m.; and Story Time at the Afton Bean, 12:30 p.m.
