Another ‘Christmas Carol’
During the weeks leading up to Christmas, everyone is invited to Woodbury/Peaceful Grove United Methodist Church to enjoy scenes from Charles Dickens’ “Christmas Carol,” while exploring Biblical truth.

Visitors know Scrooge, but they’ll also meet Abner Miserman, a dramatic creation of praise band director Rick Murphy. Each Sunday, Scrooge encounters a ghost who helps him examine a part of his life, and on Christmas Eve, Scrooge discovers that it’s not too late to begin a new life and new relationships. It’s a tale that illustrates the Biblical concept of redemption.
The December worship services will also feature special music: Valley Creek Brass, Sunday, Dec. 14 at the Woodbury campus, 7465 Steepleview Road; and the annual children’s Christmas pageant will be part of the worship service Sunday, Dec. 14, 9:30 a.m. at the Peaceful Grove campus, 8600 90th Street, Cottage Grove.
