Letter: Celebrations praised

For the past several years, I have had the pleasure of spending a Saturday just before Halloween with my young granddaughter at both Valley Creek Mall and the YMCA.

I can't thank either facility enough for providing children with such a safe, wonderful and inexpensive way to celebrate Halloween.

We have always had a fantastic time.

My granddaughter is four-years-old and has started looking forward to these events each year.

It is a tradition we started and hope to continue.
