Horrors at Stillwater High
The theatre department at Stillwater Area High School will perform a production of “Little Shop of Horrors” Thursday through Saturday, Nov. 20 to 22 in the school’s auditorium.
The theatre department at Stillwater Area High School will perform a production of “Little Shop of Horrors” Thursday through Saturday, Nov. 20 to 22 in the school’s auditorium. The 1960s-style rock musical satire, features 45 students in the cast, crew and live orchestra.
The story features a down-and-out skid row floral assistant named Seymour who becomes an overnight sensation when he discovers an exotic plant with mysterious cravings. The comical show is full of catchy 60s doo-wop and Motown style melodies. Performances will be held Thursday, Friday and Saturday at 7 p.m. A Saturday matinee will be performed at 2 p.m.
Tickets may be reserved in advance by calling (651) 351-8109 or by visiting www.stillwater.k12.mn.us and selecting Performing Arts.
Tickets will also be available at the ticket office one hour prior to each performance. The cost is $8 for adults, $6 for senior citizens and $5 for students and children.
All seats are reserved and the approximate running time of the show is one hour and 45 minutes, with a 15 minute intermission.
