Bunn wins re-election as District 56A representative

In the Nov. 4 State House District 56A race, Rep. Julie Bunn, an incumbent Democrat, survived a challenge from Republican Kathy Lohmer.

    State Rep. Julie Bunn (DFL-Lake Elmo) retained her District 56A seat by defeating Republican challenger Kathy Lohmer.

In the Nov. 4 State House District 56A race, Rep. Julie Bunn, an incumbent Democrat, survived a challenge from Republican Kathy Lohmer, 52.7 percent to 47.2 percent.

Bunn, of Lake Elmo, was first elected in 2006.

The district covers portions of Stillwater, Lake Elmo, Oak Park Heights, Bayport and Woodbury, as well as townships and river communities just north and south of Interstate 94.
