Minnesota Secretary of State Mark Ritchie made stops at four polling places in Woodbury Tuesday morning during his Election Day tour. Ritchie said he visited voters and election judges at Woodbury High School, King of Kings Church, Woodbury Lutheran and Woodbury City Hall.

Although lines were visibly long at several polling places this morning, Ritchie said election judges assured him that things were running smoothly.

Ritchie said he planned to drop into polling places at several other communities in the Twin Cities before polls close this evening at 8 p.m.

Although the line at Woodbury City Hall snaked out the front door throughout the morning, voters said they stood no more than 15 minutes before casting their vote.
