Letter: Meet and greet, Weik and Miller

I recently attended an informal meet and greet event held at the Woodbury Library that was hosted by two candidates for public office, Lisa Weik and Natalie Miller.

I recently attended an informal meet and greet event held at the Woodbury Library that was hosted by two candidates for public office, Lisa Weik and Natalie Miller.

The turnout was good and I enjoyed meeting these two candidates who are both running for local political offices right here in Woodbury.

Lisa Weik is running for the open seat on the Washington County Board and Natalie Miller is a candidate for the Woodbury City Council.

My time was well-spent listening to questions from other Woodbury residents on key issues facing the city and Washington County and hearing first hand the informed replies of both political candidates.

They both have an in-depth knowledge of not only the needs of Woodbury, but also exemplify the unique perspective that women bring to the table of politics.

I fully support and I will be casting my vote for Lisa Weik for Washington County Commissioner and Natalie Miller for Woodbury City Council.
