Letter: Miller = fiscal accountability

Natalie Miller, candidate for Woodbury City Council, recently stopped by my home. I have lived in Woodbury for five years and no candidate for any political office has ever knocked on my door.

The fact that Natalie Miller is actively seeking the opinions and views of fellow Woodbury residents is to be commended.

Natalie and I spoke at length about property taxes. I explained to her that I was not happy that the city once again voted to raise our property tax levy almost 7.5 percent for 2009.

It is unfathomable to me, that in these difficult and uncertain economic times, the government continually demands that I pay more and more in taxes.

Natalie Miller is the fresh face we need that will introduce some fiscal accountability and responsibility to the Woodbury City Council. Natalie Miller has my vote.
