Letter: Lohmer for state representative
It has been our privilege to know Kathy Lohmer, candidate for state representative, District 56A, for 25-plus years.
It has been our privilege to know Kathy Lohmer, candidate for state representative, District 56A, for 25-plus years.
This is the year for the "grass root candidate" who has many of the same qualities that a Sarah Palin brings.
Kathy is honest, energetic, a hard worker and has a passion to represent the people.
Being in the same neighborhood, we know Kathy and have observed first-hand how she and Gregg responded to raising four boys, including son Nick.
Nick has lived with a disability that has required multiple surgeries, treatments and is an on-going health care concern for his parents.
Their second son, Chris, graduated from St Johns and then served in Iraq for an 18-month tour. Chris just returned to his family and spouse. It was heart-warming to observe how Kathy and the Lohmer family prayed and supported Chris and his wife through this challenging time.
We have had the experience of being small business owners for 30 years. We are pleased to see Kathy's pro-business positions that will encourage and stimulate businesses to grow and add jobs to the community.
We also agree with Kathy's concern about being a strong voice for working families and being committed to lowering taxes.
This common sense attitude of holding the line in governing is what many of us, as common ordinary citizens, appreciate in the candidacy of Kathy Lohmer.
We would ask each reader to look closely at Kathy Lohmer. We think you will be pleasantly surprised and encouraged to know more about this dedicated, plain spoken person.
Kathy believes in an honest and straight forward approach to solving problems with conservative principles of governing.
