Children will collect donations instead of candy

Youth from Woodbury Baptist Church will be trick-or-treating for Feed My Starving Children on Halloween. They will be carrying official Feed My Starving Children collection boxes and will be asking for a small donation of money for the charity.

Feed My Starving Children is a non-profit Christian organization committed to feeding starving children. Hand-packed meals designed especially for starving children are shipped to more than 50 countries around the world. The group coordinates volunteers in the food-packing process at three Twin Cities locations. For more information about the organization, visit www.fmsc.org.

One hundred percent of the money the children collect during their trick-or-treating will go to the Feed My Starving Children organization.
