Thinking of those who have passed

Christ Episcopal Church, 7305 Afton Road, Woodbury, will hold a “Service of Remembrance” Wednesday, Oct. 29, 7 to 7:45 p.m. for anyone in the community who has lost someone recently, or who is still dealing with the death of someone close to him or her.

Dinner will be available at 6 p.m. for anyone interested. A goodwill offering will be accepted. Dessert will follow the service.

According to information provided by the church, “We know that many people struggle with [death], and we wanted to offer them an outlet for sharing this and dealing with it on a spiritual level.”
