Washington County residents in legislative District 56A can learn where candidates stand on issues affecting people with disabilities at a candidate forum event from 6 to 7:30 p.m., Tuesday, Sept. 30, at the Bayport Senior Center, 263 Third St. N., Bayport.
The forum, hosted by the Minnesota Consortium for Citizens with Disabilities, provides district 56A constituents an opportunity to hear from legislative candidates about issues affecting the disability community. Candidates invited to attend include district 56A incumbent Rep. Julie Bunn, D-Lake Elmo and opponent Kathy Lohmer, R-Lake Elmo.
