League of Women Voters to celebrate anniversary
The Woodbury/Cottage Grove League of Women Voters will celebrate its 40th anniversary with an open house event on Monday, Sept. 22.
The Woodbury/Cottage Grove League of Women Voters will celebrate its 40th anniversary with an open house event on Monday, Sept. 22.
The festivities will take place from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. at Woodbury City Hall.
Remarks will be made at 6 p.m. by Woodbury Mayor Bill Hargis, Washington County Commissioner Myra Peterson and Keesha Gaskins, executive director of the League of Women Voters of Minnesota.
Refreshments will be served and the public is invited to attend.
On Sept. 10, the Woodbury City Council issued a proclamation extending the city’s best wishes to the Woodbury/Cottage Grove League of Women Voters.
