Letter: Voters urged pick Weik Nov. 4

I was not at all surprised to see that Lisa Weik handily won the primary election for the open Washington County Board seat.

I support Lisa Weik because I wholeheartedly agree with her fiscally-conservative approach to government. I am glad to see her take an informed and principled approach to holding the line on our property taxes for 2009 and beyond.

Lisa’s extensive experience in the private sector tells me that she understands and appreciates both the value of a dollar and the diligence it takes to make one — not just print one.

My fellow residents of Woodbury have spoken in strong favor of Lisa Weik. I encourage everyone to vote for Lisa Weik for the Washington County Board again in the general election on Nov. 4.
